Located in Bristol, Wisconsin, Living Hope Farm is a transitional organic farm that aims to provide the healthiest food possible using sustainable growing practices. Living Hope has been a weekly vendor at Kenosha HarborMarket for about three years, bringing beautiful fresh greens and a variety of locally-grown produce throughout the year.
Under the guidance of the farm’s general manager, Bert Jones, a large selection of produce is grown using organic practices, and kept affordable, so the entire community has access to the most nutritious foods. A popular item from this farm is their delicious Microgreens. Grown in a greenhouse, these fresh sprouts are available year-round. Wheatgrass and edible flowers are additional unique offerings. During the prime growing season, many of the veggies grown by Living Hope Farm are heirloom varieties – meaning they have flavors that have been perfected from regional plant varieties ranging from 50 to 400 years old. They also offer local honey, pasture-raised poultry, and wine grapes from it’s own vineyard. Ask about Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) boxes, which are available during the summer months, guaranteeing members the freshest, in-season products each week.
Living Hope Farm was founded in 2013 by husband and wife team, Dennis and Tina McCreary. Steming from their professional backgrounds in healthcare and their faith in God, the McCrearys started the farm to create jobs which provide work, food, clothing, shelter and rest for their employees. Their mission is also to provide high-quality produce to feed the community and to bless people through their Living Hope Foundation.
