Park and ride to Kenosha HarborMarket for free this weekend. The first 200 people to claim a special voucher from Kenosha Area Transit can ride the streetcar free all day Saturday – to and from the market, museums, and even Taste of Wisconsin. Show your voucher to board the streetcar near any one of the public lots near the streetcar line and you’ll be given a free all-day pass.
Passes are available in advance at the Kenosha Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, 812 56th Street.; and from Kenosha Area Transit, 4303 39th Avenue. Both locations are open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The streetcar vouchers must be redeemed between 10:35 a.m.-2 p.m. on July 28 aboard the streetcar, but people may continue to use the passes all day – as late as 11:30 p.m. Regular streetcar hours are extended due to the Taste of Wisconsin festival at Celebration Place along the lakefront.
A limited number of passes are available, and people may pick up a maximum of four passes. Public parking is available in several lots along the streetcar line. CLICK HERE FOR A MAP OF PARKING LOTS!
